Aakaar is run by a brother-sister duo. The love for textiles runs in our family. We are two generations. One that has spent over 4 decades in the business – manufacturing and exporting Indian artisanal products to the globe. And another that has been working on building brands that are true to our roots and cultural identity.

Together, we are taking our story forward with an endeavour to not just bring you the most beautiful karigari from around India, but also share the stories behind them. Aakaar aims to curate and bring craftsmanship from across the heartland of our country, for homes that tell a story.

Our maiden collection is an exploration of the beauty and artistic endeavour of Rajasthani hand block printing. Each piece is a labour of love, as is evident in the way it is conceptualised and created. Hand-picked for the aesthetics of modern spaces that like to retain that touch of nostalgia.
